Pretty humiliating for an “invincible” team that had swept through the first rounds of the playoffs and held the best record in the NBA for the entire season. The humiliation didn’t stop there, though. As soon as the buzzer sounded, LeBron ran directly into the locker room, showered, and then hid at the back of the team bus, where I think it’s safe to assume he cried himself to sleep, curled up in a ball with his New Jersey Nets blanket, sucking his thumb.
