More proof that LeBron hates poor people

21 Aug

Introducing the most comically overpriced signature shoe of all time – the Nike LEBRON X!  This tacky eyesore will set you back $315.  That’s more than a minimum wage worker makes in an entire week – and that’s before payroll taxes are deducted. The cost of Chinese child abuse/labor must be on the rise! Luckily, if you’re a total loser asshole willing to settle for second-best and miss the entire goddamned point of this thing, you can buy the poor person version of LeBron’s shoe for $180.

According to Nike, the shoe “is inspired, both aesthetically and metaphorically, by the diamond, a precious and nearly indestructible gemstone.”  I guess the shoe is metaphorically similar to a diamond in that that it is insanely overpriced in an artificial market and its procurement requires the injury and/or death of innocent children in the third world…cause I’m pretty sure this sweatshop piece of shit isn’t indestructible.

There is no doubt – LeBron is a world-class douchebag and he hates poor people.  Not that we needed any more proof.  Remember this?:

“At the end of the day, all of the people that were rooting for me to fail, tomorrow they’ll have to wake up and have the same life that [they had] before they woke up today. They got the same personal problems they had today and I’m going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things I want to do.”

your point is basically saying “this shoe is $315, so only people who are rich and have $315 can have this shoe.”

based on your stupid logic, then apple must hate poor people since their ipads are like $400 or more. or Dodge has cars that are $15,000 or more.

dumbass fuckin get your shitty ass facts straight.

and btw, if you hate lebron james so much, why do you fuckin pay for a site, and follow what lebron james does?

John let me tell you a couple of things, first of all your analogy of apple and dodge has no sense at all on this topic, apple is not representing a person neither dodge, you are not seeing ladygaga-pod or dodge payton manning model 2013, they may do commercials but it is not a product with their name. The thing is the author is giving a point, lebron is greedy and he does not care about the fans, I may be agree on this since the cost of this very ugly shoe may be 30 dollars or less with the slave cheap labor at china while nike and lebron are making millions in revenue, I’m agree that not an average lebron fan can afford it, it would be very different if lebron says -you know what? this is my shoe and I want an affordable price for my fans. a $315 shoe is real middle finger to his fans.
Secondly this guy is paying for a site to people like you and me come to read and give opinions, I don’t hate lebron but I dont like him at all I think he is a cocky, individualist, narcissist and traitor to their fans. You have to ask yourself why you came here in the first place.

These shoes are so ugly and he knows it, he gets pleasure out of watching people think he is god and would do anything for his approval. Like wear the douche bag shoes. This guy is a complete a hole and loves it. He is an overpaid jerk with not enough skill to earn anything, especially not a MVP.

First off to the person who wrote this article, Lebron didn’t make these shoes and he didn’t set the price tag for them. He has a contract with Nike, been with them since he was drafted by the cavs and Nike is the ones who make and set the price tag for the products they make. Let’s not forget Jordan still has shoes by Nike and they’re too expensive, it is what it is. The only people who’ll complain about these $300 shoes are those who really want them but can’t afford them, I could careless about spending $300 on any shoe. A brand is a brand, no matter what it is if you buy it, you’re supporting the company who made the brand. Life is about living within your means, you have cheap products, quality products and expensive products. Your anger is towards the wrong person, nike is your enemy because you feel that their products are way too expensive.
